About

I’m Em (Ember) Shreve, Head of AI Enablement at Automattic, where I help teams across the company build with AI: running hands-on cohorts and shaping the internal tooling they use day to day. Before that, I spent fifteen years as a software engineer at Automattic, working on WordPress.com, WooCommerce, Tumblr, and Pocket Casts, most recently in Applied AI. I like building interfaces and interactions that bridge the gap between how people naturally think and how technology works.
